A native of Sacramento, California, Reggie Graham’s passion is creating music by playing the piano. He is a highly motivated, world-traveled musician who loves both playing the keys, but also sharing his talent through teaching.
Reggie, who specializes in playing jazz, gospel and classical music, has performed professionally both as a solo artist and member of a jazz ensemble. Reggie has performed as an opening act for jazz heavyweights George Benson, Dizzy Gillespie and The Duke Ellington Orchestra.
Reggie has also performed with Gospel greats such as Mary Mary, Helen Stevenson, Angella Christie and Arthur Jones. In 2012, Reggie received The EMG Music Group Alliance TRAILBLAZER AWARD, which celebrates those individuals that are pioneers in the Gospel Music Ministry. His band, The Reggie Graham Trio has been featured at The Harris Center, as well as The Midtown Vanguard Jazz Series at CLARA.
I am a strong believer that everyone should be able to have a life of music. That's why I became a teacher. Whether you're a just a beginner or an advanced student needing guidance, let's explore music together!
I offer both group and private lessons, separated by skill level, only for piano. I teach classical for beginners, Jazz and Gospel for intermediate to advanced. If you're unsure about which level is appropriate for you, I also offer placement tests!
